This trip is designed for a group of friends to deliver a short motorcycle tour on tight budget. We are using an AirBnB to keep accommodation costs to the minimum and self catering.
Look at this itinerary and discover some of the most interesting motorcycle routes in scotland
Glasgow to Carrbridge ~ 165 miles ~ 4.5 hours riding
Group at Robroyston and depart heading in a northerly direction through Torrance, Lennoxtown, Fintry, Thornhill, Doune, Kinbuck, Braco where we stop for morning Coffee.
We then deviate North Westerly over Langside Road to Comrie then easterly to Crieff where we alter course again to the north breaking for lunch at Tummel Bridge.
The route continues northerly to Dalwhinnie, Newtonmore, Kingussie, Insh and Rothiemurcus as we make our way to Aviemore where we stop for provisions before ending the day at Carronbridge.

Carrbridge circuit east ~ 170 miles ~4.5 hours riding
One rider, a keen angler, said he had never explored the Spey Valley, so, from our base at Carrbridge we head east to Grantown-on-Spey and continue along the course of the Spey to Aberlour then deviate to Dufftown, Huntley where we stop for morning coffee.
We head next towards Turrif then follow the River Deveron to the ruins of Castle Eden then onwards to Banff, Buckie then Keith before turning back to the Spey at Fochabers and later Elgin where we stop for lunch.
From Elgin we turn inland to Dallas (just so you can say we went to Dallas!) then Forres and from there head back to base via Glenferness.

Carrbridge circuit north west ~ 210-250 miles ~ 5-6 hours riding
From Carrbridge we head north to the Black Isle passing through Avoch, Fortrose and past the Fairy Glen Falls on our way to Cromarty where we take the ferry to Nigg and onwards to Balintore to see The Mermaid of the North and stop at the nearby Seaboard Centre for morning coffee.
Next we can either go via Bonar Bridge to Lairg then west to Altnacealgach where we break for lunch. If the group feels up for a longer ride today we shall take a loop to Lochinver and Badnagyle before rejoining the A835 to Ullapool.
We then begin the return loop heading south to Ullapool and onwards to Garve where we could take a refreshment break or progress a bit further to The Coffee Bothy at Contin before completing the journey back to Carrbridge.

Carrbridge to Glasgow ~ 200 miles ~ 5 hours riding
Returning to Glasgow we shall first head north to join the B851 and later the B862 that run close to the south eastern side of Loch Ness and eventually lead to Ft Augustus we shall continue to Spean Bridge where we stop for a light refreshment.
Progressing to Ballachuilish and through Glencoe to Tyndrum, Crianlarich and Lochearnhead where we shall stop for lunch.
At Kilmahog we might take the Dukes Pass or continue to Callander then the Port of Menteith and onwards to Milngavie where we shall tajke a final stop before heading our separate ways home.

Motorcycles For Rent in Carrbridge, Scotland, Available on this Tour
Most motorcycles available for hire are obtained directly from local mainstream dealers and are subject to change especially if the tour listed was last run in previous years. We can source others to ensure most riders needs are accommodated.
However, apart from our own fleet we do not have exclusive access to third party rental motorbikes and so models, availability and prices must be confirmed.
Prices and terms are set by the dealers who supply the machines and they are liable to update them regularly.
Other makes and models of motorcycle may be available for hire on special request, so, if you have a preferred ride just ask and we shall see what can be arranged.
